Beginning to Count

Hello all!

I am writing this on a Friday/Saturday - it is currently 2am so you can decide - after ordering Chinese food for dinner. Did I want Chinese? Not particularly. I wanted thin crust pizza, but didn't want to pay the delivery fee. So crab ran goons and lo mein it was.

So that was Friday. Wednesday I said I wanted to lose weight. Not to myself, to my roommates. I said I wanted to lose fifty pounds by graduation. That brings me to a healthy weight by my college graduation on May 11th, 2013. And because I said it, I want to do it. I can't just talk the talk and not walk the walk.

But honestly, how did I get here? How did I get to 183.4 or whatever I am in the morning (I did have fried food for dinner...)? How did the once active overachiever become an overweight inactive college student? There's a lot behind it, I can't blame it on one thing or another. But with the start of this blog, I will look into it and move on. Because I would really like to weight 133.4 again.

My first goal is 170. That's 13.4 pounds of me to get rid of. Fun fact: I gained all 13.4 of those pounds within the last year. So it's time for me to lose them again.

I will calorie count, portion control and save my money! And every time I screw up, I'm going to tell you all about it! And in May, there will be less of me to share with you all. Enjoy!
